Nov: Glen Grey

Our annual Thanksgiving dinner trip was held November 12-14 at Camp Glen Gray in New Jersey. We arrived in the rain (another 189 tradition) and to our surprise, woke up to snow on Saturday morning! Everyone stayed warm gathering firewood... and gathering around the fire!

ASM Steve started his turkeys at around noon, and they were ready right on time, for another Troop Thanksgiving dinner that couldn’t be beat!

Alex says: “Saturday's dinner was very good and we all enjoyed chopping the wood and playing in the snow. Some of us really liked throwing snowballs in the fire. All the new scouts experienced winter camping and we all know now to bring warm clothes and lots of SOCKS.”
