Troop 189 has been awarded BSA Quality Unit Status in 2003 2004 2005 2006
and the 2007 Centennial Quality Unit Award
Our annual “Turkey Trip” was taken up to Deer Lake in Connecticut. This is the one trip of the year where the adult leaders cook for the whole Troop and we have our thanksgiving feast together. This year SM Mike did the honors of cooking the turkeys, and by all reports he did a great job! The Scouts hiked and found some interesting cliffs to explore..
