Jan 06 Alpine

We like Alpine Scout Reservation for a winter cabin trip because it’s so easy to get to and the weather can be tricky. Snow was no problem this year, though! The weather was warm when we got there, and even though it cooled off by the time we left there was no rain or snow.

We stayed in a two-level cabin which everyone thought was fun. Saturday morning we hiked on the red trail, and then in the afternoon we visited Alpine’s activity center.  There was an indoor climbing wall with three levels of climbs, and when we were done with the wall there was time for some basketball or foosball before we hiked back to get the fire going for dinner.
