Discussion Topics:

1) The following themes were confirmed:

February - Geology, ending with the trip to Sterling Mine

March - Orienteering, ending with the West Point Orienteering trip

April - Scout Skill, ending with the District Camporee

May - Civil War, ending with our trip to Gettysburg. Steve talked about the 5-part Gettysburg patch and award, and that we will not have time to hike both the Union and Johnny Reb trails. there was  a pretty even split between trying to hike both trials and trying to see all the monuments. Steve will look into the possibility of our hiking the shorter Johnny Reb trail and then using the bus to tour the rest of the battleground.  We did win the lottery to camp at the McMillan Woods area on the battleground.

2) There are some new leaders who have not yet taken Troop Leadership Training.  Steve will set this up and send out a date

3) There will be 4 new Scouts bridging in; they will be split between Stealth and Sgt Pepper.

4) There was extensive discussion regarding high adventure options.  We discussed Philmont, Northern Tier, and Sea Base.  The PLC was asked to check the Sea Base web site and get back to Steve at this weeks meeting
