Feb: Trail Cleanup

In February the weather can sometimes be unpredictable, as the Rainmmakers well know.  We decided to stay close to home and perform Community Service by cleaning up a section of the Greenbelt Trail, right here in Nassau County.  Of course, the weather ended up being fine, but wait till you see what happened to us in March...

Alex Says: When we went on a hike cleaning cans and bottles we had a lot of fun. We brought hatchets; saws and Mark R brought the best... the chainsaw. We only cut 3 things down with the chainsaw. Some one cleaned the branches in the trail and cut them off the trail. We didn’t have to cut anything besides the 3 that we cut down with the chainsaw. We were annoyed because all we had to do was pick up garbage and cans. We had a lot of fun doing that because we found a lot of interesting things. We all had a good time doing that.
