Glen Grey in New Jersey is a favorite of ours for winter camping because it allows us to be out in the woods... but not so far away from home for safer driving. We got up to the Glen on Friday night and hiked in to our cabin. The weather was great all day Saturday (but below freezing the whole time) and we were surprised to wake up to snow on Sunday!  It’s a good thing that everyone cut all that firewood on Saturday!

There was an old two-man lumbering saw hanging in the cabin as decoration, which we took down, sharpened, and then used to cut firewood. It was a new experience for the boys who tried it. Saturday night we had a council fire.
