2008 Cub Parent Weekend

The Weekend of August 8-10 was Cub Parent Weekend. Pack 189 participated in this annual camping weekend. The boys and their parent had a wonderful time.  The weather was exceptional this year, it was perfect.  We had a great time with the crafts, nature, swimming, fishing, archery, showman, water games and the famous obstacle course.  After dinner, everyone participated in the big bonfire. All packs performed either a song or a skit. Our Pack did the famous "Emergency Broadcast System" skit. After the bonfire, everyone was treated to the ice cream social in the dinning hall. Our pack had the honor of raising the flag on Sunday morning. The Cub-Parent Weekend committee did a great job - BULLY to them.

Our own Troop 189 served as the Service Troop and Assistant Scoutmaster Ed was the Co-Chairman of this great weekend.
